Order Lead Time

Every controller is made to order. The lead time for each product is listed on its product page and represents the time required to build and prepare your controller before shipping.

Important:

  • Lead Time = Time to build and prepare your order.

  • Shipping Time = Time in transit once your order has shipped.

While we strive to meet all quoted timelines, lead times may be extended due to:

  • Public holidays and peak seasonal demand

  • Global part shortages

  • Customs processing delays

  • Unforeseen circumstances affecting production or logistics

We will notify you if your order is expected to be delayed beyond the stated lead time.


Shipping Methods & Timeframes

All delivery estimates are in business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Note: Shipping time does not include lead time.
Example: If your controller has a 4-week lead time and you select Express shipping, it will ship Express after the build is complete.


US Shipping Process

For US customers, we follow a two-stage shipping process to ensure smooth delivery and predictable costs:

  1. From Factory to US Warehouse
    Once your controller is built, it is batched with other completed orders and shipped together to our US warehouse.

  2. Local Final Delivery
    When the bulk shipment arrives, your order is separated and shipped locally via USPS or UPS.

    • Standard or Express shipping times apply after your order leaves our US warehouse.

This process helps avoid customs delays and allows us to deliver a seamless experience for US customers.


International Shipping – Powered by DHL

All international orders are shipped via DHL Express, our trusted global shipping partner.

  • Fast & Reliable: DHL is recognized worldwide for their speed and efficiency, ensuring your controller arrives safely and on time.

  • Full Tracking Included: Every international shipment comes with real-time tracking, so you always know where your package is.

  • Global Network: DHL’s extensive network helps minimize delays, even during busy holiday seasons or when crossing international borders.

  • Direct Delivery Option: Selecting DHL Direct from Factory at checkout ensures your controller ships straight from our manufacturing facility to you for the fastest possible delivery—often within 3–5 business days.

Customs, Duties & the De Minimis Rule

Previously, the de minimis rule allowed shipments under a certain value to enter duty-free, meaning no customs or duty charges were applied.

  • Recently, this rule was removed for certain product categories, including gaming accessories and electronics.

  • As a result, most international shipments now require customs and duty fees to be paid by the customer before final delivery.

Current Policy by Region

  • United States Customers:
    US orders are not charged customs or duty fees, as we clear all import processes through our bulk shipments.

  • International Customers:
    Many countries require customers to pay customs and duties upon delivery.

    • If fees are unpaid, the shipment may be returned to us.

    • Reprocessing and reshipping fees will be deducted before we send the order again.

    • We are actively working to expand duty-free benefits to more countries.


Why Orders May Be Delayed

While we work hard to ensure on-time delivery, certain factors can cause delays beyond our control:

  • Customs Inspections: Random checks can add extra processing time for international shipments.

  • Global Supply Chain Issues: Component shortages or freight delays may temporarily affect production timelines.

  • Holiday Rush Periods: High-volume seasons can slow carrier delivery speeds.

  • Incorrect Shipping Information: Orders with incomplete or incorrect addresses will be placed on hold until resolved.

We monitor all shipments closely and will alert you if a delay occurs.


PO Boxes & Military Addresses

We deliver to US P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO military addresses.

  • These orders default to Standard Shipping and are routed with our bulk shipments to the US before being transferred to USPS for final delivery.

  • For the fastest service, we recommend using a residential or business address whenever possible.


Shipping Providers

We partner with trusted carriers to ensure reliable and efficient delivery:

  • DHL Express – International shipping and direct-from-factory orders

  • USPS & UPS – Local final delivery within the US

Our system automatically selects the fastest and most reliable carrier for your order based on your location and chosen shipping method.


Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked Delivered by the carrier, HYPR is not liable for lost or stolen shipments.
To protect your order:

  • Monitor tracking regularly.

  • Provide a secure delivery location.

  • Opt for signature-required delivery whenever possible.

  • If an issue occurs, please contact the carrier directly for the fastest resolution.
