HYPR Warranty and Repair
HYPR Limited Warranty Policy
1. Introduction
This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) is provided by HYPR Controllers (“HYPR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to HYPR gaming controllers and accessories (“Products”) purchased directly from HYPR or through an authorized HYPR reseller.
This Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless required by law. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service.
During the Warranty Period, HYPR will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund your Product (excluding shipping costs) if it is found to be defective or malfunctioning due to a manufacturer error. Replacement Products may be new or refurbished to like-new condition.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this Warranty, the following definitions apply:
-
“Product” refers to any HYPR gaming controller or accessory covered by this Warranty.
-
“New Product” means a Product purchased new from HYPR or an authorized HYPR reseller.
-
“Refurbished Product” means a Product restored to like-new condition by HYPR.
-
“You” or “Your” refers to the original purchaser of the Product.
-
“Warranty Period” means the time frame during which HYPR will provide warranty service, as defined below.
3. What the Warranty Covers
3.1 Standard Warranty Coverage
All HYPR Controllers come with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of shipment. During this period, HYPR will repair, replace, or refund the purchase price (excluding shipping fees) if your controller is found to be defective or malfunctioning due to a manufacturer error.
Note: HYPR covers all repair and replacement costs under warranty, but shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
3.2 7-Day Replacement Warranty
If your controller arrives with incorrect specifications or any issues within 7 days of delivery, HYPR will replace it with a brand-new unit at no cost.
HYPR will also cover the return shipping fees for valid replacement claims reported within the 7-day window.
3.3 Part-Specific Warranty
The following parts are covered under the 1-year warranty:
-
Quick Bumpers
-
Quick Triggers
-
Mechanical Rear Buttons
-
Analog Thumbsticks (including Hall Effect)
Stick Drift / Analog Deviation:
HYPR covers analog drift issues for both Hall Effect and regular thumbsticks. Drift is defined as a bias of more than 5% in any direction while the stick is at rest.
Note: All analog sticks, including Hall Effect, use physical centering springs that may not return perfectly to zero. A small amount of deviation is normal and not considered a defect.
3.4 Repairs vs. Replacement
Warranty claims may result in either a repair or replacement.
HYPR will determine the appropriate resolution based on the nature of the issue. Replacement units may be new or refurbished and will meet or exceed the performance of the original product.
